My intention is to write about all the places we’ve visited with Trouper, first impressions, things we did and things we wanted to do.  We stayed in some places longer than others either because we liked it, or the weather forced us or we were short on time and needed to get to somewhere else.

I’ve tried to keep the same format for each series of articles on a place that we’ve visited.  There’ll be  our first impressions, then places we ate or provisioned, then more detail on things we did or wanted to do.  There will be links to further information rather than re-creation here so if there is a website or blog or further information available then that’s linked to from the article.  Over time I’ll add static pages with reference information and my inspiration.

This is an ongoing project that I work on in my spare time and is, of course, seasonal.  Whilst I’ve raced and sailed in nearly all weathers including the 2001 Fastnet.  I much prefer sailing downwind in less than a force 4 in 24C sunshine…
